Pulsar has been providing ongoing transport and highways advice to HBD on a major employment site (the Butterfield Business Park), which is located on the north eastern edge of Luton. This has included transport support for planning applications on various vacant plots within the business park including a scheme for c.8,000 sqm of flexible employment floorspace within 5 separate buildings. The scheme represents Phase 2 of The Quad development that has already been completed and is now fully let.

Phase 2 has now obtained planning consent from Luton Borough Council and construction is scheduled to start in March 2021, with occupation scheduled for late 2021.

Pulsar prepared the Transport Statement and Travel Plan for the planning application, whilst also providing design advice on the site accesses, parking layout and service yards.
