Pulsar has been commissioned by James Taylor Homes to prepare a Transport Statement in support of a scheme to redevelop a vacant hotel site in Kingston upon Thames.
The Hotel Antoinette is located to the south of Kingston town centre and previously accommodated 98 bedrooms as well as meeting and events/conference facilities. The site benefited from a previous consent for 79 residential units, with Pulsar staff providing transport advice for that scheme.
The current planning application seeks to increase the number of residential units to 99 units, whilst retaining other original elements of the previous scheme, including basement and surface car parking. As part of the Transport Statement work, Pulsar undertook swept path analysis and commissioned parking surveys to demonstrate the acceptability of the design. The planning application was approved at Planning Committee in July 2019.
