In late 2021, Swale Borough Council has approved an application (subject to the signing of the Section 106 Agreement) for the conversion of a vacant adult educational centre to a residential development consisting of 23 dwellings, for which Pulsar provided transport planning advice.
The approved scheme, located on Graylings Crescent in the south of Sittingbourne, Kent, involved the conversion of a listed building to 18 residential flats and the demolition of the existing outbuildings to be replaced by five bungalows. The scheme includes improved pedestrian and vehicle access arrangements into and within the site, including the provision of a shared surface access arrangement.
Pulsar provided input to the site layout plan, particularly on the access / internal vehicle circulation arrangements and car parking layout. Pulsar subsequently supported the planning application by preparing a Transport Statement.
