Pulsar has been assisting Horn & Horne Ltd with a residential conversion of a backland site in the London Borough of Merton. The scheme is located east of Wimbledon off Caxton Road, approximately 200 metres south east of Haydons Road Station. There are also three regular bus routes within comfortable walking distance of the site, resulting in an accessible development. The site will incorporate a shared surface access leading to a total of 13 residential dwellings consisting of 9 flats and 4 houses.
The site will provide 12 off-street car parking spaces as well as 27 cycle parking spaces to London Plan standards.
Pulsar provided design advice to the client team including swept path analysis for the internal layout. To support an initial prior approval and subsequent planning application, Pulsar prepared a Transport Statement for each of these applications.
Both schemes have been consented, and Pulsar has been assisting the client with the Construction Logistics Plan to discharge the relevant planning condition.
