We are delighted that a residential-led scheme that we have been providing advice on in Charlton Adam, Somerset, has recently obtained planning permission.
Pulsar provided transport and highway advice for the scheme, which consisted of 35 new residential dwellings involving an upgraded site access leading to a mix of 2 - 5 bedroom houses, as well as the refurbishment/extension of an existing public house.
Pulsar provided design advice on the site access, a re-configured car park, car/cycle parking requirements and a new internal access road. The access design required access to be maintained to an existing public house and its re-configured car park.
To support the planning application, Pulsar prepared a Transport Statement, a Travel Plan Statement (using the iOnTRAVEL system utilised by Somerset County Council) and a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP). Pulsar also provided advice on highway elements within the Section 106 Agreement.
Throughout the process we liaised closely with the project team including Hope Architects, BuckinghamRE (project management) and Pembroke Planning (Planning Consultants).
